Wine Cake Recipe

I love making bundt cakes they are one of my favorite desserts. I also love cooking with wine and came across this easy and delicious recipe for Wine Cake. I make this all the time for a
variety of occasions. I made this cake in one of my favorite pans. I hope you enjoy it! 
1 White Cake Mix (Moist) I use Duncan Hines (18.25 oz)
1 package instant vanilla pudding mix (5 oz)
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
3/4 cup white wine (I used Chardonnay)
3/4 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
**High altitude I add 3 Tablespoons of flour
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour bundt pan.
2. Combine the cake mix, pudding mix, nutmeg, vegetable oil, white wine, and eggs in a bowl. Beat with an electric mixer for 5 minutes.
3. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool on a rack for 10 minutes then remove from pan. I let the cake cool completely and sprinkle powdered sugar on it.

  1. I have such a sweet tooth-but can’t go near any of this really good sounding stuff——–wish I could!!!

  2. To be honest, I’ve never tried to make a bundt cake. Think it’s time to remedy that!
