Summer is just around the corner! I can’t wait to do some summer entertaining! I love serving my friends and family delicious food and tasty beverages. I recently discovered an awesome company that offers a variety of products perfect for entertaining the crowd it is the Old World Gourmet. I had the pleasure of receiving 2 of the frozen drink mixes for evaluation purposes. I received The Vinolicous Sangria and Blueberry Pomegranate Cocktail Mix. The drink mixes are quite easy to use.

Wine and Sangria Mix

For the Sangria,  you mix with a bottle of wine and water. Then you put it in the freezer for several hours to set. The Blueberry Pomegranate Mix can be mixed the same way with wine and water or with 6 cups of water and 1 1/2 cups of Vodka. It also needs to be frozen for several hours or until it reaches a slushy consistency. There is even an option to use in the blender if you want to make it immediately. My husband and I make our own wine, and he  is also a homebrewer, so we always have plenty of wine and beer on hand, however, in the summer we want to have other options available and these drink mixes are perfect.

I actually had a couple of friends over, and I made the Sangria. I used my favorite Cabernet Sauvignon with the mix. As you can see,  it is extremely easy to mix.

Ready to be frozen

I poured the Sangria Mix in a gallon Ziploc bag with the bottle of wine and a bottle of water. I squeezed the bag gently until it was mixed and placed it in my freezer for several hours. As you can see it looks delicious.

Old World Gourmet Frozen Sangria

The flavors of the mixes are delightfully fruity and sweet. They also smell heavenly! Another impressive thing I discovered with the Sangria, is if it is too sweet for someone add another  splash wine or a small splash of Brandy to add an extra kick. Old World Gourmet offers a variety of Wine, and Cocktail Drink Mixes as well as a variety of snacks and gifts. How would you like to win the Sangria and Blueberry Pomegranate Mixes?
