My favorite memory is when we used to go camping when I was a kid.
My dad had 3 girls so he put up with a LOT! He used to let us do his hair and he’d be the patient for us. I have a lot of wonderful memories and now he’s building them with my kids.
he drives me to school everyday during my elementary and high school days.
I have always been a daddy’s girl so there are way too many to pick just one. I do have lots of memories of going fishing with him when I was little and of riding on the back of his motorcycle as a teen/early 20’s.
One of my favorite memories was my nightly phone calls with my dad and we talked for 2-3 hours a night and how I miss that
I was jumping rope and practicing a jump rope game where you call out the name of an animal for each skip. If you hesitate or say a name twice your turn is over. Whoever names the most wins. My Dad was nearby watering the lawn. I call out things like :tiger”, “monkey”, “cow”, etc. He suddenl;y calls out “Tasmanian Devil!” I stopped, glared at him and said he was making it up. He explained what a Tasmanian Devil was. It sounded fishy but Iplausible. So I start over: “Eagle”, “”Lion”, “Giraffle”… He pipes up again – “Duck Billed Platypus!”
I stropped again. “you’re making that up!” He explained it was a mammal, with duck feet, fur and it laid eggs. That was just too much! “No Way!” He smiled and said I should get changed- we were going to the zoo. An hour later I looked at a real live Duck Billed Platypus.
It was magic. I miss my Dad every day.
August is the busiest month for moms to have babies.
My favorite memory is when my Dad had a stroke and I had to take care of him every day, he still smiled every day and was always so happy to see me.
Oh that is very touching and sweet.
My favorite memory is when my dad took us out in his canoe to go fishing.
My dad would always try to embarrass me while driving in the car. So when we would pull up to an intersection he would play Air Seatbelt Guitar. Then one day it didn’t embarrass me anymore and I would play along with him.
That is awesome!
One of my best memories is when my Dad comforted me when I was very sick from suffering from
a migraine. I used to get awful migraines as a child. He soothed me until I feel asleep and I will always
remember him talking gently to me and saying it will be okay. He has since passed on from lung cancer.
I miss him so much. Love you Dad!
we use to go fishing and camping in the summer
My favorite memory is meeting him for the first time when I was 23 years old.
My favorite memory with Dad is going camping with him, and going fishing. He is a great fisherman, and he taught me how to fish. Also, on these camping trips, my Dad taught me how to swim and I got to ride in a boat. I remember those fun summers of getting to eat outside at the campsite. It was so much fun!
Riding the roller coasters at Magic Mountain as a kid.
Going fishing with my dad is a vary good thing I loved doing with him.
August is the busiest month of the year to have babies.
I always helped my Dad at his garage, he owns a car body shop when we were little.
Always helping him make (or break) things in the workshop. I still love to do it today except now it’s with my husband.
Thanks for making this open to Canadians.

My favorite memory is seeing my dad hold my newborn son.
My favorite memory of my dad was when we were little and my dad kept carrying a tobagon up the a snowy hill for me and my brother to then slide down. He was so tired at the end of the day, but he kept up the pace for both of us!
My favorite memory was when my brother, my Dad and I went to the Seattle area and went hiking on Mt. Rainier with my uncle. Except my dad forgot to pack my bag, so I only had the clothes on my back. I washed them every night so that they’d be clean and ready for the next day of hiking. On that Saturday, it started out dreary and cloudy and drizzly. But as we hiked up the trail, it started to clear. By the time we got to the top at Summit Lake, the sun was shining and we had a glorious view of Mt. Rainier. Every night, we watched one of the Back to the Future movies and we watched the whole trilogy that trip. It was also the first time he let me take pictures with his camera. (He is a professional photographer.) It was just a really fun time with my Dad!
My dad took me and my brother to Disneyland a lot when we were kids.
going out for ice cream
Him taking me with him to Denny’s when he was a sales rep and buying me juicyfruit !

My favorite memory was watching movies with my dad.
My favorite memory of my Dad is over 4 decades ago we would go fishing a lot but this time we lived in Tampa (he was in the military) and we went fishing in the Gulf of Mexico and I caught a shark over 4 foot long! I wasn’t quite 10 yet and my little childs fishing pole was bent in half lol. I will never forget that fishing trip!
Wow that is an amazing memory! It is funny what you can catch with the kid poles! My son always caught great fish with his batman pole.
I dont have one specific memory but quading, golfing or fishing with my dad was always a good time 😀
I don’t know if it’s a favorite memory, but my dad bought me a huge mircowave when I moved out and my mom was mad at him for that lol
My favorite memory with my dad was 4 years ago on his birthday. My mom had left him (they ended up getting back together months later), and I was spending his birthday with him alone at their house. My dad was very lonely at the time, and I was so glad to be able to be there for him.
