I spend a lot of time in the kitchen and am always looking for ways to make that time more effective and productive. I hate wasting time and food, I found a terrific book that has over 5000 tips, hints and shortcuts. The book is Great Kitchen Secrets by Chef Tony, he spills the beans on some of the world’s best cooking and food preparation tips.  There are also kitchen safety, cleaning, and organizational tips.  This book is certainly a “must have” for anyone who spends a lot of time in the kitchen. I found great tips for a variety of things. One of my favorite tips is how to store separated eggs. You simply place the separated eggs in ice cube trays. So you can have one ice cube tray full of egg yolks and another with egg whites. It is an excellent way to save time. Another excellent tip is the science of flipping pancakes. To make the lightest pancakes they have to be flipped at the perfect moment. They should be flipped as soon as the bubbles start appearing on the upper surface and before they break. If you flip them before the bubbles break, you will have light and fluffy pancakes. The book certainly has excellent tips and ideas to save time  and money.
