If you are looking for a fun and unique gift for children, I recommend the 1965 V.W. Camper Van Play Tent by The Monster Factory. It is one of the coolest items I have seen for children.  I honestly don’t know any child that wouldn’t want to play in this outstanding tent.  The tent is available in 3 colors red, blue, or pink for $59.95. It is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. It includes a “wheelie” carrying case. It is also recommended for children 3 and up.  Additionally it is licensed by VW.  I received a blue tent to feature in my 2013 Holiday Gift Guide, and I couldn’t wait to share this with my grandchildren.  I had my 2 youngest grandchildren ages 3 and 4 to help me with this review.

The tent was remarkably easy to set up between the 3 of us we had it up and assembled within a couple of minutes. There are 4 little tent poles that you put it the tent to keep the shape 2 of them go on the top and 2 go on the bottom. It was a breeze setting it up. After it was set up, it was playtime!

As you can see, my young grandchildren had a blast playing in the tent. The tent features an opening in the back and side, and a screened windshield with a cover. They had a terrific time pretending to drive!

I certainly love the tent because it gets the kids to use their imagination to play. I also like the fact that I can use this indoors or outdoors. The tent actually has UV protection, waterproof and fire retardant.  It is also the ideal size for my grandchildren it measures 21″ W x 65″ L x 30″ H. Unfortunately, I am too big to get in it to play with them. It is a little tricky to pack up, but there is a video on the website that demonstrate how to do it. It actually isn’t that hard to pack up after you watch the video. To see the 1965 V.W. Camper Play Tents available to purchase visit the The Monster Factory website. They can also be purchased at Bed, Bath and Beyond.
