If you are traveling with your family in Colorado be sure and visit the Embassy Suites Loveland. My family and I love to travel, it is something that we all love to do, but finding a family friendly place that meets everyone’s needs is a little challenging. Having small children, a teenager and then my husband and myself we all want something different in a hotel. We found the ideal hotel for our entire family at the Embassy Suites Loveland.
My family and I recently visited the hotel and it was the best experience we have had at any hotel. The Embassy Suites Loveland is located at 4705 Clydesdale Parkway Loveland Colorado 80538. It is in a convenient location near the highway and close to shopping. When we arrived at the hotel we noticed the sculptures, I thought it was a very welcoming touch, it also showcases what to expect in two local sculpture parks.
While checking into the hotel our little ones got to choose a toy from the toy chest, you can get one toy per child per day, they were very excited to see this. The hotel also features a library for children’s book and board games. This is perfect in case you want to play a board game or read a book to your little ones.
Upon getting on our hotel floor, we were welcomed by two vending machines, if you stay on the premium suite floor you are given a code to use for free snacks and drinks during your stay at the hotel. My family and I absolutely loved these, it was perfect for grabbing a water and a snack before going on a day trip.
Our room was located near the end of the hall, it was a very nice and cozy room. The room featured two queen beds, a sofa sleeper, a lounge chair, two desk chairs, two TVs (one in the living room and one in the bedroom), a coffeepot (Keurig includes k-cups), one bathroom. The room was the perfect size for my family.
We didn’t spend a lot of time in our room since during the day we were, usually, gone and during the evenings we were at the Evening Reception. The evening reception features complimentary drinks and snacks. You may also order food from the in-house restaurant if you do not want the snacks or if you would just like to enjoy dinner with your family while receiving free drinks. Our little ones loved the snacks and cherry sprite that they offered.
The hotel features complimentary breakfast every morning for guests. It is located in the atrium of the hotel (same area as the evening reception). We found it to be the busiest in the earlier in the morning . The food is served buffet style with a made to order counter, you can order omelets, eggs, and pancakes in this area. The breakfast also has complimentary coffee, juice, and soft drinks. If you would like other drinks, they have a coffee shop that serves Starbucks coffee, however you must pay for this.
When the atrium is not in use, it features a fountain that you can make wishes in, the money that goes into the fountain benefits Larimer Human Society. My little ones love to make wishes, everywhere we can make wishes, we make them. So this was definitely a highlight to our trip. Next to the fountain was a moose sculpture that was holding kites that were suspended in the air. It was a very nice thing to see from the top floor. The hotel also has lounge chairs in the front of the hotel so you can enjoy some relaxing while chatting with your family or friends who are staying at the hotel.
It also features a spa and indoor swimming pool and hot tube near the atrium. We weren’t able to swim this time because the youngest had an ear infection. We will definitely hit up the pool the next time we go though. Near the entrance to the hotel was a cutout that you could stick your face into take a group picture. My family and I love these things so we had to take a photo in it. As you can see we loved snapping our picture.
If you are looking for things to do in Loveland, you can make sure to visit Boyd Lake State Park and Buckhorn Northern Railroad at North Lake Park. They are must see Loveland attractions, Boyd Lake State Park is a water sports haven located at the foot of Long’s Peak. Buckhorn Northern Railroad is an authentic replica steam engine that hauled the clay from Devil’s Backbone. While out in Loveland feel free to stop by Anthology Book Co., it is an independent bookstore at the heart of downtown Loveland. If you are looking for dining options visit Next Door, which is a tapas and wine bar located at 222 E 4th street. Henry’s Pub is also another option for dining, it is located at 234 E 4th Street.
If you want to have a fun day with the kids visits Fort Fun. They have go-karts, bumper cars, arcade games, batting cages, and more. It is located at 1513 E Mulberry Street. You could also visit Loveland laser tag, which is a multilevel 36 player laser tag challenge course. They also have an Egyptian themed climbing wall. They are located at 401 Denver Avenue. Overall this trip was an amazing experience that will not be forgotten. The staff was incredibly friendly and it was one of the best services we have ever had. The hotel was the perfect blend of business friendly and family friendly. I will recommend this to everyone I know because it was just so amazing. We will be continuing to go to this Embassy Suites in the future. It was a big 2 thumbs up from our family.
