I know I am posting a little late, but I wanted to share this fun project with you. It is a great way to repurpose your wine bottles. My friend and I made DIY Halloween Wine Bottle Lights that turned out really cool. They are easy to make and fun to have around for Halloween. I found some felt pumpkin stickers to use for the decoration on the bottles they add an extra dimension to this project.

Here is what I used:
Clear wine bottle-cleaned with label removed
Rust-oleum specialty frosted glass spray
Battery operated LED lights (purple)
Felt stickers
Shrink capsule (for the top)-we had these on hand

Spray the frosted glass spray on a clear wine bottle. It takes a few minutes before the frost shows up on the glass. Apply 3 even coats of frost and let dry.

Take the LED lights and feed them into the bottle. Take the stickers and place them in desired place. Put the shrink capsule on the top and viola you are done! What do you think?

  1. I love it. I wonder if you could skip the painting a bottle part and use a bottle that is already frosted?
