Newman’s Own was created by Paul Newman in 1982 with homemade dressings made by Paul and sold in boutiques. It eventually blossomed into a well-known product line that features over 200 products in 20 categories. The products are made with high-quality ingredients to provide the best flavor and taste available. Not only, are the products delicious but all the royalties and after-tax profits from the products get donated to various charities. There has been over $450 million given to thousands of charities since 1982 by Paul Newman and Newman’s Own Foundation. I don’t know about you, but I appreciate companies that offer delicious products and give back to the community. Newman’s Own Foundation focuses on philanthropy, children, empowerment, and nutrition. You can learn more about the foundation at www.newmansownfoundation.org.

As most of you know, I love Newman’s Own products they are products that I believe in, purchase, and feed to my family. The products are high-quality, delicious, affordable, and nutritious, and the proceeds get donated to charity. During the holidays, not everyone has extra money to donate to charities but one way to give back is to purchase Newman’s Own food products.  We do not have extra money to donate to our favorite charities during the holidays anymore, but I feel better knowing when I purchase Newman’s Own products that I’m still able to give back in some way. We love to have family get-togethers during the holidays. We always have a variety of snacks stocked for unexpected and planned gatherings.

Newman’s Own Snacks

Some of the snacks that I keep on hand include:

  • Newman’s Own High-Protein Pretzels
  • Spelt Pretzels
  • Thin Pretzel Sticks
  • Peppermints and Wintergreen Mints
  • Strawberry Licorice Twists
  • Sour Apple and Cherry Licorice Twists and Black Licorice Twists
  • Original Newman O’s
  • Chocolate Chip Family Recipe Cookies
  • Orange Chocolate Chip Family Recipe Cookies

The variety of pretzels pairs perfectly with dip or hummus. They are great to snack on while playing a board game with family. The candy and mints are delightful sweet treats to have in the house for children or those who have a sweet tooth. The candy is enjoyable alone or paired with popcorn for movie night. The variety of cookies is the perfect addition to hot cocoa or evening coffee with friends. They can be placed on a platter for a perfect accompaniment to any potluck or social gathering. The cookies are my family’s favorite treat.

Newman’s Own Candy

If you need ideas for stocking stuffers the candy, mints, and chocolate would make perfect stocking stuffers.
