 Revell SnapTite Model Kits a new way to build models.

Revell recently released a new product line for a simpler way to build models the new line is SnapTite Model Kits. Revell created the SnapTite model kits for children to learn a new and simpler way to build models. Revell model kits have been around for as long as I can remember. When I was younger my brother spent a lot of time putting together the model kits, back then you could spend hours and hours working on one project. Times of changed and so have children so Revell has added the new product line for children to learn how to build models without spending hours and hours on one project.

The model kits are designed for children ages 6 to 12 in three skill levels. The models become increasingly more difficult and contain more part with the increase in skill level.

Revell SnapTite Model Kits

Skill level 1: is for ages 6 to 8. The kits are snap, build, and play. They feature full play value. Requires no glue paint or tools. The build time is 30 minutes. One of the Level One models is the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. The model scale is 1/25 and contains 10 parts. It is the perfect beginning model Kit for younger children ages 6-8.

REVELL Level 2

Skill level 2: is for ages 8 to 10. The kits are snap with some play value. It does not require glue or paint, but may require tools. The build time is one hour. One of the level 2 models is Grave Digger Monster Truck. The scale is 1/25 and contains 35 parts. This kit features easy snap together construction with 3-inch monster tires, a full engine, and drivetrain with colorful peel and stick decals. The Grave Digger Monster Truck is super cool and ideal for ages 8-10. Although the level 2 models are not full play, they are ideal models to transition into skill level 3 model kits.

REVELL Level 3

Skill level 3: is for ages 10 to 12. The kits are introductory glue kits. There is no play value with the level 3 kits. Glue and tools are required paint is optional. The build time for skill level 3 kits is three hours. One of the level 3 kits is 2013 Camaro. The scale is 1/25 and contains 48 parts. The kit features a decorated body, full detailed V-8 engine and metal axles. These models are definitely designed for older children that are more skilled and model building.
