I don’t know about you, but this time of year my life gets hectic. School is back in session and I am constantly on the run to appointments and extracurricular activities, I need to be able to whip up dinner quickly. Especially since our family has expanded I have more mouths to feed and more children to care for. I need all the help I can get to make my life easier and I found a terrific cooking system that makes cooking a breeze. I recently received a Digital Nuwave Oven Pro from BrylaneHome. The Digital Nuwave Oven Pro is an innovative infrared cooking system that makes cooking fast and easy. The Digital Nuwave Oven Pro combines infrared, conduction and convection heat together which saves time, energy and calories. It requires no pre-heating and can cook multiple foods at a time, as well as, food that is frozen. My favorite thing about the Nuwave Oven Pro is it requires no oil or fat when I cook with it, which makes the meals healthier. The oven includes stainless steel racks and non-stick dishwasher safe trays, extension ring, DVD, quick and easy cooking guide and a complete Nuwave Cookbook. The oven is very simple to use, but I recommend reading the directions before use. The digital display panel is located on the Power Head it includes a variety of buttons including Cook Time, Start, Power Level, Pause/Clear, and Reheat. Additionally there are 10 power levels level 1 is the lowest and 10 is the highest. It automatically defaults to level 10 so if you don’t need a lower setting you don’t even need to change the power level. As you could imagine, I couldn’t wait to try this handy kitchen appliance. The cookbook has tips for using the Nuwave and has a huge selection of recipes including dessert! I absolutely love the cookbook and have made several recipes in it.

You can see the Lemon Chicken, Rosemary Chicken and Omelet. When you cook chicken (poultry), you can cover it with foil to keep it from browning too much. I didn’t cover mine and you can see it is golden brown. The only thing that I found different from the cookbook was the cook time. I did have to cook the food a little bit longer than the cookbook stated, but that could be because I am at a higher altitude. Either way it is still faster than cooking in the oven uses less energy and I love being able to cook without adding extra oil or fat. I like being able to cook a healthy meal in less than an hour, especially because I am so busy. If you have a busy life or you would just like to cook healthier meals, I recommend the Digital Nuwave Oven Pro. You can purchase it from BrylaneHome, as well as, view a huge selection of products for the home including appliances, bedding, bath, furniture, storage and more.

  1. I like it! Especially when it’s hot outside. I hate to turn the oven on and add heat to the house.
