George Foreman Grill

George Foreman Grill

My husband and I love to grill food, but living in Colorado we have very unpredictable weather and high winds very often. So we don’t get to grill very frequently in the winter months. I found a wonderful alternative for grilling inside it is the Classic Plate George Foreman Grill. It is silver and has a 2-1 grill and panini press. My husband loves paninis and steak so obviously he loves this little grill. When you first start up the grill, you have to let it heat up-before use you have to let it heat up and cook off the coating on the grill. It has a slight burned plastic aroma. I didn’t enjoy that, but it went away after using this a few times.

George Foreman Grill

You can cook just about anything on this grill. When cooking it does cook quicker, so you have to make sure and watch the food see when it is done. It cooked a lot faster than it would have in a pan. It also removes up to 42% of the fat when cooking, so it makes the food a little bit healthier. I know I enjoy being able to cut fat out of foods wherever I can, so that is a great benefit. The grill is also quite large it can cook 9 burger patties at time, which helps since I have large family. Additionally, The grill also has a 1” adjustable cooking height and GEORGE TOUGH non-stick coating which makes cleaning a lot easier as well as, making the food easy to flip and remove. One thing I did notice with the grill when we cooked steaks was the top grill plate seemed to cook a little faster than the bottom, so we paid special attention to that.

The George Foreman grill would make a lovely gift for anyone who likes to cook or grill.
