My family and I love celebrating Cinco de Mayo. This year we are celebrating with a delicious food fiesta using products from IMUSA.

This year we are making slow cooker beef tacos, guacamole, salsa, and sopapillas. Making this delicious meal has just gotten easier with the products from IMUSA.

I used the Avocado Slicer, Cloth Tortilla Warmer, Salsa Dishes, GlobalKitchen Citrus Squeezer and GlobalKitchen Tortilla Press.

Slow Cooker Beef Taco Recipe
2-3 pounds beef roast
One can beef broth
Four tablespoons Penzyโ€™s Taco Seasoning
Other toppings that you desire

Place meat, broth and seasoning in slow cooker. Cook on low 7-8 hours. Shred beef and place into warm tortillas. Top with your favorite toppings and serve.

Corn Salsa Recipe
One can mexicorn drained and rinsed
One jalapeno pepper chopped (deveined and deseeded)
Two Roma tomatoes chopped
One clove minced garlic
Chopped green onion (to your taste)
Fresh chopped cilantro
Lime juice
Salt to taste

Combine all ingredients in a medium size bowl. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight. Serve in IMUSA salsa dish.

Guacamole Recipe
Two ripe avocados mashed
Two tablespoons light sour cream
One jalapeno diced (deveined and deseeded)
One can Rotel rinsed
Salt to taste
Fresh lime juice

Combine all ingredients and refrigerate for 2 hours before serving. Serve in an IMUSA salsa dish.

For dessert, I made Sopapillas using my favorite sopapilla mix. Instead of rolling the dough out and cutting I used the GlobalKitchen Tortilla Press. It took the hassle out of making our favorite Mexican dessert. I fried them in a cast iron skillet and topped with chocolate and caramel sauce.
